What is a Wiki?
Wiki means "quick" in Hawaiian.
Wikis are web pages that are designed to allow anyone who accesses the pages to contribute to or modify the existing pages. Wikis are often used to create collaborative and community spaces.
Wikipedia is probably the most well known wiki. It is widely used as an online encyclopedia, but there is debate about its reliability, given that anyone can come in and edit the content. There have also been cases of companies and government departments using Wikipedia to put a positive spin on their activities.
